Helping to make Oulton a better place to live and work for present and future generations

Our Work

We play a significant role in making Oulton and surrounding areas a more attractive place to live. We monitor planning applications, raise awareness of local issues, organise village improvements, support Oulton in Bloom and arrange social and fundraising events.

Oulton in Bloom

Volunteers meet twice a month to tend to the plant tubs and borders around the village. They work extremely hard and always welcome new members.

The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month at 9am in the Calverley Road layby.

The Oulton Society regularly donates to Oulton in Bloom.

Our Committee

For the past few years, the Society Chair has been vacant and so these duties have been shared among the other committee members. We would welcome any Oulton Society member who wishes to join the committee.

The existing committee members are:-
